We the undersigned, demand that the Government give Wirral a fair and sustainable funding deal.

Wirral Council, and by definition the people of Wirral, have been subjected to brutal cuts since 2010, amounting to £268 million per year in 2019-2020 alone. We say enough is enough.

There is no levelling up if we have no libraries, leisure centres left or our streets and green spaces are poorly maintained and cleaned.

Our cost of living is rising rapidly, including our council tax, for which we are paying more for less.

We demand action from the government.
