This week, Ed Miliband announced that the next Labour Government will scrap non-domicile tax status, an unfair rule which allows over 116,000 privileged people in our country to pay less tax on their earnings than the majority of working people.
Labour is committing to changing our tax system to make it fairer, and will use the tax revenue gained to invest in our NHS. The Tories, who are backed by the super-wealthy, say that it's a bad idea. So who's side are you on?
Over the next few days, the super wealthy will clamour and argue that things should stay as they are. We need to show them that Britain's tax rules should be on the side of the majority, not just the millionaires.
